Seconded at Stansted Airport, within the Asset Management Team, as an Asset Optimisation Lead responsible for the civil aspect of the airfield acting as the asset owner for all taxiway and apron pavements, landside and airside roads as well as 35000 car park spaces. I aced as the engineering lead for the Civil element providing expertise and direction to the maintenance delivery teams in terms of optimal maintenance strategy, developing asset strategy, standards, innovation and best practice. My main task is to develop a whole life maintenance cost strategy that identify future CAPEX and OPEX needs that satisfy service and risk levels. In addition, I am also overseeing and providing support to a number of projects including the upgrade of the FEGP, AGL Renewal project, Runway 04-22 Rehabilitation, FY19 bay improvements, Gate A13 double airbridge upgrade and Taxiway Sierra/Romeo and Lima strengthening works.
