Originally coming from an hotelier's family, my father was general manager at the Gstaad Palace for more than 3 decades; me and my sister were truly born into the service industry. At the age of 20, after a few trials in various proficiencies, I determined to undertake the same path. The hotel school of Lausanne, with its bachelor degree, gave me the foundation to start my career. After graduation, I left Switzerland for 6 years working in the Middle East for Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts.After that experience I was missing my hometown. I continued working in the five star hotel industry initiating at the Gstaad Palace, where I was fortunate to meet my wife. After the years in Gstaad our journey took us to Interlaken, to the famous Grand Hotel Victoria – Jungfrau, where I continued climbing the career ladder. In 2012 the Villa Principe Leopoldo in Lugano interviewed for a Resident Manager/Vice Director and we, my wife, our eldest daughter Céline and I moved from Interlaken to Lugano. A coming home for my wife, originally from Lugano, and a new challenge for myself. After intensive years at the Principe Leopoldo, our second daughter Estelle was born in 2013 I was ultimately contacted by a national job hunter, looking for a General Manager in a luxury senior living residence. As I was myself considering the idea of changing to another industry, the offer immediately woke my interest and I eventually began running the Tertianum Residenza Al Parco in Muralto/Locarno beginning of 2015.In 2019, I initiated my Masters studies at USI, where I graduated in June 2021. During the same period, I was put in charge of the opening project of Tertianum Cornaredo. Today, almost 8 years later, currently spending my last days at the Tertianum Residenza Al Parco I will now undertake a new adventure as Project Manager of the pre-opening period and eventually as General Manager once the new Tertianum Residenza Du Lac opens its doors in 2024.
