Motivated team player considering any full time editing or project managing position in the Portland, Oregon, area -- remote or hybrid situation is ideal. I've been in the comic book industry for over thirty years, ten in retail and twenty-four in publishing. I'm currently a Senior Editor/Senior Project Manager at Dark Horse Comics LLC. Several of my projects have earned Eagle, Eisner, and Harvey Awards and have also become New York Times Bestsellers. I helped my company launch multimedia programs like The Umbrella Academy and Resident Alien, and media tie-in programs like Plants vs. Zombies, Overwatch: Tracer, Overwatch: New Blood, Borderlands, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, multiple StarCraft series, and The Fifth Beatle. I've helped launch lines like Dark Horse Originals, Dark Horse Manhwa, the Moebius Library line, the Robert E. Howard line, and others as a DHC Editorial staff member for over two decades. In addition to program and line managing responsibilities, I have been training fellow staffers since becoming an Associate Editor in 2004, with those under my supervision, who remained on staff, moving to full Editor, Senior Editor, and special project positions. I have experience editing comic book, graphic novel, archival, art book, prose, and custom book projects, with frequent copy editing and writing (even ghost editing for special projects like Shaolin Cowboy Adventure Magazine: The Way of No Way! and Nexus: Gourmando, and ghost writing for SpyBoy). I took on one big editing and French translation project and earned an Eisner Award for it (Moebius Library: The World of Edena, "Best U.S. Edition of International Material" Eisner, 2017). As a member of the Dark Horse Manga staff for my entire career at DHC, I have also provided English Adaptation scripts to manga and manhwa programs like I Am a Hero, Blade of the Immortal, Blood+, Bride of the Water God, Eden: It's an Endless World!, FLCL Omnibus, Shaman Warrior, Banya, and others as a part of my salaried duties.
