As part of a six-strong team, responsible for: - Development of custom line-of-business web applications, including job card scheduling, interfaces to logistics provisioning systems, time-and-attendance transactional and reporting systems, and quality management systems. Webapps were written in HTML/CSS and generated by Spring MVC Java code. Data was stored in MySQL and HP/NonStop Tandem databases. - Implemented and supported roll-out of ADP HR.net software. Developed custom C# plugin integration to legacy HP/Non-Stop (Tandem) time-and-attendance database and Bond Teamspirit payroll systems. Developed custom screens, reports, and workflows to integrate the software with the company's HR requirements. - As part of a company-wide rollout of Epicor ERP software: customized data entry screens, modified report definitions, and wrote ABL Business Process Management code to implement company-specific requirements on top of a generic ERP system. - Inherited a palm tree-type plant from a former employee. It has doubled in height since I started looking after it. This may be my most lasting achievement here.

As part of a two-man team, responsible for:Development of new Java Servlet-based web applications to track worldwide hotel room allocations, visa applications and visa support requests.Creation of several websites to sell unused hotel allocations to the public, interfacing with existing MS SQL Server 2000/2005 databases through JDBC. Websites were, wherever possible, W3C-compliant HTML styled with CSS and client-side behaviour provided by Javascript.Worked with third-party application provider to specify a custom XML web service.
