• This newly created position at Sixt Ireland, reporting to the company’s Sale Manager. The position was created to assist the Sales & Finance Department in analysing sales trends, increase revenue and drive down direct cost associated with the vehicle mix purchases for both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland Businesses.• Design and maintaining of the competitive pricing survey strategies to ensure constant competitive pricing, balanced against vehicle class utilisation.• Responsible for constant competitive rates through timely and accurate weekly rate updates for all public point of sales rates.• Daily utilisation projections for the next three months to control the reservation build and increasing rates at all point of sales when utilisation is high and stimulate reservations when utilisation is low, this is done in conjunction with segmentation analysis of the different reservation streams.• Analytical analysis of all reservation sources, reporting against vehicle class requirement for different date band trends and vehicle class utilisation.• Work closely with the Fleet Department, reporting on product (vehicle class) requirements to assist them in purchasing the correct fleet mix for different time periods of the year, therefore driving down cost associated with discrepancies in fleet supply and fleet requirements.• Report design in SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio and MS Visual Studio 2008 and design & maintenance of SQL Server Data Warehouse.• Report design in Cyberquery for Thermeon Cars+ Rental System.• Design and maintenance of Visual Basic scripts for automated rate update system for Europcar’s GDS System (Greenway).• Other project management, e.g. company websites maintenance, optimisation and development of 5 new websites, development & database development of a bespoke intranet solution for corporate car rental requirements.
