Since joining Octopus Energy and selling them my previous company, nCube, I am now responsible for innovation of tariffs, IoT and energy services. During my time here, I have built on the Agile half-hourly tariff to launch integrations with the IFTTT and Alexa services, multiple EV charger platforms, home battery storage solutions and other home systems that can provide benefits from time-of-use consumption. I'm also responsible for the Outgoing Octopus tariff - a full half-hourly export tariff brought to the market the day the UK Feed-in-Tariff closed.I'm also responsible for grant funded research projects such as community energy schemes, alternative grid charging solutions and whole-home electrification.

I previously launched and ran my own Intelligent Smart Home platform, nCube. Now a part of Octopus Energy Group, nCube is a pioneer in IOT platform development, with award-winning tech that acts as a bridge to connect IOT devices, using Z-Wave, WiFi, Zigbee, Bluetooth and LAN. Octopus Energy will use the newly acquired energy technology (Entech) to drive the smart grid, with more automation for customers and closer integration between smart meters and energy consuming devices.

Responsible for product planning & delivery to international mobile operators.

I was responsible for Technology, Consulting and Delivery with Sentaca UK across areas such as Service Delivery strategies, API architectures, System Delivery and Service Layers such as location, payments, subscriber profile, quality of service, mobile advertising, messaging, VoIP/RCSe, mobile devices, working with operators and vendors alike.

Responsible for complete end-to-end delivery of Sentaca's bespoke solutions to clients including product planning, requirements capture, product development, project management, roadmap and future delivery planning. Also responsible for negotiating commercials, advising clients on long-term strategic direction and overseeing post-launch Service, Support and Maintenance.(Current client MyScreen Mobile - mobile advertising solution).

Senior Product Manager for Redknee's personalization portfolio of products including Profile, Privacy, Location services, Parental control, Mobile advertising, etc. Grew portfolio to 25% of Redknee's total sales in the last 6 months including 4 of Redknee's multi-million dollar sales to tier 1 NA and European operators.Also responsible for initiating and defining Redknee's Managed Services packages including Business Model.Detail product experience of Service Delivery Platforms, OMA and 3GPP standards. Spoken at CTIA and TMForum.Authored or co-authored 6 patents.

Last role: Project Management of a significant part of O2's Service Delivery Platform. Core full time team of 12 people. 7 separate deliverables. Management across internal departments.Previously (18 months) Product Development of Instant Messaging & Presence and research into capabilities of IMS & SIP technology. Lead the requirements capture, supplier selection processes and negotiations, product proposition, technical solution definition.Also various Product Development, Project Management, Process Management over the previous 7 years at O2 including eShop, WAP device launches, Pre-pay device launches, VAS platform delivery, Core Network delivery.
