At AdviseInc I manage the client delivery team, developing applications to help the NHS identify and deliver savings.Our mission is to identify significant financial benefits for the healthcare system by joining web-based analytics with commercial and clinical expertise; saving trusts money and improving efficiency.The applications we provide bring data to life from across the NHS and its supply base. We partner this data with market knowledge and clinical expertise to provide actionable intelligence and insight.Our core solutions focus on product price transparency/comparison and non-pay spend visibility. We supply the Purchase Price Index and Benchmarking (PPIB) tool to 210 NHS Provider trusts and offer full spend visibility/control solutions to over 70 NHS trusts and growing. Our tools enable 100% visibility of non-pay spend, allowing trust teams to become better-informed buyers.Our NHS customers see significant returns on their investment, with our tools quickly becoming core to how the teams work. This puts data and analytics at the centre of decision-making.We work closely with Finance Directors, Turnaround Directors, Clinicians, General Managers and Procurement to use the power of the data we hold to identify further savings. We complement existing capability, to increase both the quantity and speed at which savings can be identified and realised. We do this locally, with STPs and Buying Groups.

As the Head of Markets my role at peto was to bring buyers and suppliers together through our site and work towards delivering greater transparency in NHS markets.

Joining Avail's Supply Chain team as one of the first consultants in this recently formed organisation, the role involved building a brand for the new company, in the health supply chain market. This position has since required a broad understanding of the wider public sector, delivering projects in Central and Local Government, Education, and Health. More recently focus has moved to Commissioning and Procurement, adapting category management and strategic sourcing techniques to develop new ways of collaborative commissioning across Primary Care Trusts (PCTs). This has required engagement across complex clinical areas to deliver benefits through market and pathway optimisation projects.

During my time at HBS I worked on a number of projects within our Public Sector client base. Projects ranged from cross organisation spend reviews and aggregation through to delivery support for the outsourcing of back office services at local authorities.
