About Philip T. Woods

Phil joined Federal Home Loan Bank - Pittsburgh in January 2017 and is responsible for development and implementation of the Bank's Security Strategy, Program and Roadmap. In July 2020, Phil was promoted to Senior Director, Technology and Operations and Solutions that adds the Bank's technology strategy, infrastructure services, delivery and security. Prior to moving to Pittsbugh, in 2015, Phil joined Sbarro in Columbus, OH as Vice President, Information Technology, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Previously, Woods was CISO, responsible for Security, Risk and Compliance for Standard Register in Dayton, OH. He joined Standard Register in 2005 to establish and direct the Program Management Office (PMO). He advanced to direct the core information technology (IT) functions including planning & engineering, operations & service management, application support & delivery, outsourcing & vendor management and security operations and administration. Phil is a multi-disciplined business leader with broad experience in many technology and security areas who works cooperatively and collaboratively, aligning and applying IT solutions to business needs. His customer-focused experience includes a variety of markets and industries including Retail, Healthcare, Financial Services, Technology and Services.Woods earned a B.S. in Applied Science, Systems Analysis, at Miami University and has his Master’s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University. He spent almost 20 years with NCR where he developed and globally deployed managed services and completed his Six Sigma Black Belt certification. In 2014, Woods achieved his Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certificate from ISACA.
