Lead and manage the financial consolidation process for budgeting, projections and actual reporting to create consolidated financial statements for this $18B global medical technology company, reporting to the Corporate Controller. Prepares the Company’s internal management reporting and external financial statements in accordance with US generally accepted accounting principles. Actively involved in the SEC filing process including earnings releases and certain footnotes. Lead the North America Accounting Shared Services Organization including general accounting, fixed assets, inter-company, indirect taxes and accounts receivable.• Played an instrumental role in the successful integration of a $4B acquisition into the company's consolidation and management reporting process. This included recording purchase accounting adjustments and transitioning the acquisition's accounting functions into the Consolidation's COE and Accounting Shared Services. • Led the global implementation of SAP BPC for both BD’s external and internal management reporting.• Leading a global accounting and financial system project team to complete the spin of BD’s Diabetes Care business including developing a BPC reporting solution and managing activities in support of the Transition Services Agreement.• Performed a project leadership role ensuring all accounting transactions related to the 50.1% sale of BD's Respiratory business were properly recorded. This included collaborating with Financial Systems to "clone" the BPC consolidation process enabling BD to manage the Consolidation Transition Services Agreement. • Prepare the company's consolidation financial statements both on GAAP and Non-GAAP basis as well as manage the global monthly close process. • Prepare internal reporting requests and financial statement analyses for Corporate Controller and Chief Financial Officer. Liaison with the external auditors to ensure all audit requests are provided during the required timeline.

Initially hired to develop and lead the Shared Services Accounting organization as part of the ADP Corporate Finance initiative with both a US and Offshore based structure. Participated in a Corporate Procurement initiative to ensure greater compliance to ADP Procurement policies, and Travel & Expense guidelines which enabled ADP to leverage company spend as well as improve controls.• Initiated business case, secured approval and implemented AP invoice workflow which will reduce cost and improve controls.• Spearheaded a Lean/Kaizen initiative across General Accounting Shared Services’ organization.
