As The Little 'Bookshop' I originally used to got through their rubbish and recycle all their recycling. This was paused during the pandemic as a request by my vulnerable wife, though I still helped out occasionally. The charity became the Great Linford Community Hub and though I helped in many ways I would usually only be seen at the Community Fridge; I also made an effort to get much of the rotten food into my green bin to be 'composted'.

I was responsible for general care taking work, which involved looking after Health & Safety, as well as night time security whilst resident. I had to keep a record of any occurrences and did some computer work. Occasionally I even helped out in the office. I was also involved with setting up rooms for functions and undertaking some cleaning when being 'hired' by The Boundary Organisation which occupied one half of the Pavilion, taking care of any cricket played there.

Working in a yard of 50 horses with sole charge of 5 ponies and 4 horses. The work involved mucking out, cleaning (of horses and tack), feeding, upkeep of the yard and leading on the lessons as well as some teaching and PR work.
