Directed team of electrical, mechanical, and thermal engineers to design the CPU/GPU server trays used for HPE Apollo Water Cooled Super Computers. Worked with ODM partners to build new server trays that were developed by HP engineers. Set schedules and budgets, managed vendor billings.* Selected the business partner using the proposal process (RFP/RFQ) that would supply the hardware and software for the Apollo program. This included the terms and conditions of costs and billing cycles required by both companies.* Worked successfully in a project management matrix environment with many HP teams. This required getting to know the other teams, what motivated them, and how to keep them on track, even with other priorities that were not part of the program.* Successfully collaborated with partners and engineers in the U.S. and China-based teams for Foxconn, completing project prototypes on time and under budget. * Executed innovative risk-management solutions to resolve critical issues on the previous generations of server trays, eliminating concern for future products.

Managed integration engineering team responsible for drafting technical white papers specifically designed for consumers and retailers to deliver hardware and third-party solutions. Created “Design and Implementation Guides” and conducted training sessions to create a uniform presentation approach.• Closed two critical business gaps: 1) The first-in-its-field encryption solution for data protection products; 2) HP snapshot storage solutions for data protection of VMware / Oracle environments.• Worked directly with 3rd party software/hardware companies to successfully develop joint solutions. Included reviewing the solutions and how to support the solutions after launch.• Managed solutions roadmaps and forecasted quarterly budgets, including ordering hardware and software for solutions testing. Designed / architected storage systems used by corporate and enterprise consumers. Installed, configured, and demonstrated numerous storage solution at demo centers and vendor sites.
