Provided training for technicians (includes operations of deposition tools).JV achieved Successful expansion of two 2MW pilot lines to 50MW production in 10 months, and now is in process of planning for further expansion. Started up of 12 Innolas high-speed laser scribing tools in a short time frame, responsible for tools troubleshooting, software optimization, optical alignment, laser tuning, scribing process qualification, and process monitoring. Oversaw installation, setup, and startup of the backend for module manufacturing includes NPC SLM laminators, ASIC-PY Electroluminescence testers, SPI-SUN Simulators, Honle Light Soaking System, Thermatron Chamber, etc. accumulate and manage reliability data for statistical analysis. Proposed solutions for refurbishing and modifications of used manufacturing tools for production line, saving funding and reducing lead time compared to purchasing of the new tools

 Led the back end of CdTe thin-film solar module product development for performance and reliability with simultaneous cost reduction. The team achieved module efficiency increase from 10.6% to 17.4% in 5 years. The solar module was qualified for mass manufacturing in China.  Coordinated the selection and qualification of the new materials and vendors to improves the scalability and reduce costs of the product. Maintained the BOMs and SOPs up-to-date. Established product specifications; set up and oversaw projects timeline; created, coordinated and presented technology roadmap & projects progress to executives, investors, JV partners, and customers.  Coordinated third-party tests and certifications, and lead in-house testing to ensure products meet IEC 61646 for Thin-film PV testing, IEC 61730 for global PV standard, IEC 61853 on bifacial gain and UL 1703 on PV Module Safety.  Was responsible for setting up backend part of the pilot line includes 8-inch Oriel Instruments Solar Simulator, DPSS Samurai 355nm Laser Marking System, NPC LM R&D size laminator, ESPEC environmental chamber, etc.
