My practice is focused on dispute resolution and I am experienced in handling all phases of litigation, including trials and appeals. I am also a certified mediator. I was trained in litigation at the Boston office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, where I worked on securities fraud class actions, and other complex business litigation matters. The areas in which I most typically work involve contracts, fiduciary duty, securities law, employment, fiduciary litigation, intellectual property and business torts. I can provide independent representation to board members, conduct investigations, provide strategic advice in a variety of business circumstances and advise clients in connection with governmental investigations. Finally, I have experience in zoning matters. I generally represent corporations (both public and private), pension funds and individuals. I am also available to assist lawyers on discrete matters or to handle local counsel duties.I try to bring creativity to my practice and have handled cases that resulted in establishing new law. For example, in a case of first impression that has had national significance, the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court adopted my client's position and held that an investor could bring statutory claims under the Massachusetts Blue Sky Laws against a hedge fund, despite the fact that the investor had signed subscription documents containing an integration clause.My goal is to provide every client with "upper margin" quality legal work and advice associated with the very best practitioners and firms, personalized service, and creative solutions.

  I handle all aspects of dispute resolution, including litigation and analysis of claims. I have represented individuals, private companies, partnerships and limited partnerships, pension funds, REITs, real estate developers, media companies, and Fortune 500 companies and I have been opposite some of the largest national firms. I have tried cases to judges, and juries in state and federal court and represented clients in arbitrations and mediations.
