Working within Whitbread's Business Change team, focusing on the "people" side of projects.From Stakeholder Analysis, Comms Strategies, Change Plans and Business Readiness through to Benefits tracking and Realisation.

- I managed the full IT install and budget for all Whitbread hotels and restaurants. This included all hardware, cabling types, tills, computers, EFTPoS, telephony and guest WIFI. - I reviewed all site drawings, wiring schematics, staff and guest needs to ensure bespoke, specific requirements were captured and planned in.- I managed upwards of 300 projects of varying size and involvement per year, the largest of these being up to 35 new hotel/restaurant system installs annually.- I worked on our first German hotel in Frankfurt as the main IT representative, liaising with German suppliers of hardware and services to steer the project through to final network design and implementation. I continued to work on the next 5 hotels and the planning of a multi-site conversion due in 2020. Learning’s from these installations are now being used to inform a fuller rollout for further expansion into Germany.- I took on a design and consultancy role on many of Whitbread’s new concepts such as hub, Zip and Bar & Block, working closely with all parts of the business to shape the final product and define the ongoing process for the future.- I managed multiple suppliers and undertook detailed planning of hardware rollouts to determine the best order to implement across the estate.- I controlled spend on hardware in the existing hotel/restaurant estate, my team reviewing requests for all additional hardware.- As a key stakeholder, I sat in on various steering groups to offer my historic and current knowledge of the outlet infrastructure. These included the Property Design Change Forum, Wifi/Corporate comms integration, IP telephony conversion, future restaurant and hotel brand planning.- I managed a team, coaching them through Whitbread standard procedures, as well as my knowledge of the non-documented aspects of outlet infrastructure and off model specifications.

- I maintained clear lines of communication and ensured that the master project schedules were kept accurate and delivered weekly to over 150 stakeholders.- Ensured orders for all equipment and software were placed and charged to the appropriate projects, carefully analysing when hardware could be re-utilised and redistributed to save costs.- I completed Pre-installation checks to ensure the appropriate configuration has been achieved and suppliers were adhering to process. Also Pre and Post install checks to asses the quality of our suppliers work.- I was responsible for tracking calls placed by new installations to capture possible trends and take appropriate steps to incorporate new ways of working into our processes.- I built close relationships with the operational teams to capture changes in operational ways of working that may result in IT changes.- I initiated risk and issues logs for the team and the outcomes ensured lessons learnt were carried forward to the next project and risks could be escalated with the relevant and accurate details.

- Extensive planning, implementation and testing ahead of deployment at site level.Detailed recipe analysis and set-up to ensure exact accurate depletion of stock.- Set-up and control of restaurant printing routes and screen instructions on a site by site basis to ensure the ease and speed of processes is to the maximum.- Design of till touch screen layouts with the user in mind so that minimal button presses are required and maximum entry speeds can be achieved.- Collating of information for menu changes from several departments, to ensure coherence in detail.- Sales reporting and analysis to determine the success of promotions and popularity of dishes.- Problem solving of support calls where depletion or ordering levels are directly being affected.
