Having recently sold my business I'm hugely excited about using my almost 10 years of entrepreneurial experience to sink my teeth into a project that is looking to grow in a creative, innovative and sustainable direction. As Co-founder and Director of MASMAS++, an offline home for the online generation, I was fundamentally involved in all aspects of the business operation in 2 locations internationally. I have developed a firm fascination with brand strategy and believe that there is always something more that we can do to improve the relevant links between brands and their communities, with core values being at the very heart of this. In the case of MASMAS++, through our youthful coffeehouse environment we could observe on a daily basis the changing behavioural patterns that came with the increase of smartphone and social media use and recognised that there was a need to encourage and even incentivise real human connections and face-to-face social relationships. I could see the difference that something as seemingly simple as a jointly-shared long table, a board game night, or an event capable of bringing strangers together (of which I organized and participated in over 180), made to the social tissue of our spaces and the surrounding local communities.Through running the daily operations and management of an F&B-based Start-up during this time I've discovered the advantages that both traditional and more disruptive working methods can provide, therefore I constantly look to explore new ideas to revitalise a traditional way of thinking and I love to challenge the modus operandi, which resulted in a special mention in the Premis Delta regional innovation awards in 2015 for my efforts.I love to get excited and feel pride for my work, so I'm currently looking for the opportunity that will make my mouth water and that I can help to move forward. Though I'm currently based in Barcelona I'm 100% available for immediate incorporation and relocation.
