My main areas of responsibility include Marketing, Product Development and Design, and Partner Success (Support), reporting directly to the CEO. I frequently engage with our global customer base of over 2000 organisations, while utilising my background in software in order to design and launch value adding functionality to the platform. In 2012 I co-founded this SaaS start-up concentrating on creating the best customer experience within the world of IT. Our vision came to life through the conception of a platform used by customers and IT support staff. Lancom Technology (Lancom) is an Auckland, New Zealand based IT Service Provider. Focussed on the Small to Medium business market its services are provided largely on a recurring monthly fee basis, with project and software development services also offered. In my time at Lancom I moved from being Senior Technician to the General Manager. I was involved the operational management of the organisation as a whole with daily responsibilities including monitoring the operational performance, managing the service department, as well as performing sales and marketing functions. While there we were successful in more than doubling staff and revenue, all the while maintaining best-in-class profit performance. We also launched two successful SaaS ventures.Key Achievements:● Helped grow company from 8 to 23 staff.● Assisted sales team with all new business and eventually assumed the role of leading most sales.● Implemented service management platform ConnectWise, which improved team productivity and immediately increased monthly revenue.● Implemented a customer device management platform, Solarwinds N-Able, to provide more pro-active support and require less customer visits.● Regularly travelled and participated in industry conferences and business peer groups.● Performed Service Delivery function until appointing Service Delivery Manager.● Performed Account Management functions to top customers and created systems to produce all monthly customer reporting.● Assisted in the successful RFP process and implementation of one of New Zealand's largest Microsoft Dynamics CRM solutions at a national HVAC franchise.● Annual budget and monthly P&L management.
