•Factory Authorized Testing (FAT’s) of Exterran supplied rotating equipment, as per Exterran or OEM recommendations; to ensure smooth transitional phase of field commissioning & startup•Trouble-shoots PLC and control logic issues within skid mounted panels. Also works with third party programmers to ensure control parameters are being established within the required guidelines from an Exterran & OEM perspective. Ensures safety systems, end devices, and instrumentation gauges, valves, and tubing are in proper working order •Interfaces with manufacturing disciplines during equipment build-outs, to ensure any deficiencies in the shop can be dealt with in the field, with minimal impact to project schedule•Assists with implementation of “lessons learned” from field startups, back to the shop design & implementation groups, to ensure corrective processes are in place to correct past issues of non-conformance or operability problems•Determines procedures necessary for safe operation of Exterran & OEM supplied rotating equipment•Develops equipment history data logs for field commissioning/operational personnel and will develop work-packs of specific needs/deficiencies that need to be addressed during the installation and pre-commissioning phases•Writing of technical procedures for safe operation, startup/shutdown of equipment, trouble-shooting techniques, and general maintenance of rotating equipment

•Organize cooperation between customers, Commissioning Technicians, and the warranty processes for efficient start up run time, and validation of equipment warranties. Project manages the delivery, installation, commissioning, and warranty process from time of shipment to customer until expiration of manufacturer’s warranty. •Assist in the realignment of the Warranty and Commissioning Services group by streamlining the Warranty Process for fleet and sold equipment. Set up processes that begin at the request stage via an email inbox, with end result of lessons learned presentation, that allow for product improvement in the engineering, design, and manufacturing phases.•Setup and maintained the internal Warranty and Commissioning Website and posted all warranty and commissioning documentation to allow access to employees worldwide

Essential Function:-Oversight and direction of the Commissioning Group directly supervising up to 15 employees -Setup and implemented Exterran's commissioning training program -Schedule commissioning of all fabricated equipment and oversee through completion. -Provides technical assistance for all fabricated equipment deploying new technology and troubleshooting. -Provide feedback to engineering and fabrication on issues encountered in the field during commissioning. -Reduce warranty accrual expenditures. -Reduce Start Up Run Time and overall customer experience. -Work with customer internal and externally to find root cause of warranty issues -Manage the project by coordinating with the local divisions and customer as well as any OEM dealers and vendors

-Traveled extensively to Domestic and International job sites -Assisted in the installation of equipment-Tested the electrical / mechanical integrity of units-Proved PLC logic of the unit (s)-Troubleshoot and fix any problems with equipment to insure proper unit operation as intended -Commissioned complete package -Train operators on proper the functions and limitations as well as start, run, and maintenance procedures for the units.
