Created an operational tracking system (eTrack) to encapsulate the entire Deseret Forwarding operation of moving the personal effects of military personnel from the point of departure to delivery in theater. The system optimizes the routes and carriers, correctly bills the Dept of Defense for each line item, tracks the shipments from end to end, and provides BI reporting for all of the data across the enterprise.Created the interface between the operational system and the accounting system (Great Plains). This interface takes all data from eTrack and creates AP Vouchers, AR Invoices, Credit Memos, Debit Memos, and GL Journal Entries in Great Plains using eConnect. It also reads the data back from GP into eTrack so that the CSR department has all of the accounting data available during help desk calls.

InterPark was growing rapidly, but their database management and reporting systems were outdated and even non-existent in some cases. It was time to get some professional help. We took a highly manual set of management processes from napkin drawings to full service, interactive dashboards that have near real-time data flowing from all aspects of the business. These BI Dashboards provide timely insights into all of the data informatics that are needed by the management team to act quickly and intelligently on Real Estate opportunities.We then focused deeper on automating the business office with full ePay services, AR automations, and a multi-scenario budget and forecasting system.

When it came time to update the Nuclear Materials Accountability System (NMAS) at Sandia National Laboratories, Martin Marietta and the US Department of Energy called on AppTech to deliver. Under a sole-source agreement, AppTech developed an easy-to-use, hyper-secure set of applications that allows Sandia and their sister laboratory, Lawrence Livermore, to manage all Shipments, Receipts, Transfers, and Storage of nuclear materials.With the help of the brainiacs employed by the labs, we even developed a method of evaluating the “street value” of each container of fissile material so that the Department of Defense could properly evaluate the level of security required to defend each location.
