Phillip has over 30 years of Organisational Consulting in Australia and Internationally. He is Principal of Response Consulting Australia (RCA), a Brisbane based business advisory firm and Response Consulting LLC based in Nevada.After early experience in the Coal Industry in Australia, Phillip has managed and participated in consulting projects on all aspects of Organizational Improvement across a range of industries primarily in Australia and the United States as well as Europe, New Zealand & Sth America. These include: • Finance and Banking, • Transport & Logistics, • Resources (Mining, Processing, Refining), • Local Government (Councils and Peak Bodies), • State Government (Delivery and Development agencies), • Education (Secondary & University), • Health (Public and Private) and He prefers to work with clients in a planned manner across time and is proud of the long-term relationships he has with many clients. He believes that as organizations are complex and dynamic by nature there is not ‘one best way’ of managing. Part of the work of managing is making decisions about how to manage the uniqueness of a particular organization. A consultant’s work is primarily ‘support’ in nature – i.e. about analysis and the provision of advice focused on the improvement of the organization's performance as a social entity.In addition to general organizational consulting, RCA also operates a Registered Training Organization (RTO) which provides accredited leadership and other development to industry. It also offers technical training in the meat industry and has several Joint Ventures with other training providers in a variety of technical spheres.Phillip has also worked extensively with Macdonald Associates, a UK-based, international network specializing in Organizational Development through the use of Systems Leadership Theory.
