To grow the Unlicensed (ECS) business within National Grid through contract placement and management of services to external customers and National Grid group companies. As part of this role I have provided support and coaching to a multi functional team and act as subject matter expert to the National Grid electricity business. My achievements include:Responsible for the successful resolution of escalated legal and contractual disputes across the ECS customer and service portfolio.Rebuild of ECS main contract frameworks to improve risk management and service deliverables to customers.Successfully competed for and secured a key contract via tender representative of >25% of departmental annual income.Improvement to financial performance by challenging and reducing the Capitalisable and Overhead allocations for Unlicensed works to ensure competitive charging for works can be maintained.Management of multiple catastrophic failures of customer assets balancing needs of customers with obligations of National Grid and stakeholder management through to successful conclusion and settlement.Identification and return of >£3m of cross subsidised costs to licensed business following successful examination and subsequent process building to capture costs to deliver works and improve financial accountancy.Stakeholder engagement to secure business support for change of direction relating to customer management to resolve conflict between Electricity and Telecommunications to build a clear roadmap for resolution of service conflicts. Delivered negotiation to remove stop on works affecting multiple national customers to build improved safety position and recommence works affecting national Telecommunications infrastructure.Identified and resolved issues with financial reporting costing ECS business >£1m per year

Negotiate and manage service delivery contracts with electricity generation customers to maintain assets and safety of equipment for the transmission of electricity to the UK market.
