Sales, Configuration & Account Management for Avaya, Alcatel Lucent & ShoreTel IP Phone Systems & related Third Party add ons to enhance these systems. Worked remotely each day from home office in the Central Coast using VPN to connect to a centralised system, (Client Database, Quoting Tool, Company Sales Pipeline etc), & called & met with Clients & prospective Clients as necessary. Great people & memories.

Field Sales Manager with a Team focusing on Direct Sales for Foxtel in Multi Dwelling Units (MDU) of 3 to 100+ until mid 2000 then NSW/ ACT MDU Sales Manager until March 2006, working Remotely 90% of the time.Created Territory Management of 10000 Doors for each Sales Rep, in multiple regions, to give them the best opportunity for sales success & allow them to Self Manage. My responsibility was Strategy & Systems to help Sales & efficiency. Daily, (& nightly), support for Reps in the field, Reporting to & liaising with other Management in Salesforce & Foxtel, (Regional, National, Marketing etc), as well as Liasing with Building Managers & Body Corp members to monitor install success & to ensure that Reps were paid. Great memories of the people I worked with.

Door to Door Sales in Residential until May 1997 then moved to Multi Dwelling Unit Direct Sales. Top Sales Award in Australia in 1997 & 1998 then moved to Management. You never know who's going to be behind the next door! I met so many interesting people.

North Ryde

Grade 4 Digital Electronics Technician. Started with basic Audio as an Apprentice in March 1996 working on Headphones, Walkman, Stereos etc & the first Sony CD players, the CDP-101 etc, D50 & D50 MK-2 then all & every other model as they were produced. Found the technology interesting so I elected all things Digital at Ultimo TAFE as well as Microprocessors. Developed new systems to test & repair DAT (Digital Audio Tape) equipment for Recording Studios & Portable DAT, used by Musicians, such as TCD- D3 (personally dealt with & maintained John Denver’s, Rick Price, Garry McDonald etc- fun blokes), & then Mini-Disc in 1993 onwards. During this time DDS (Digital Data Storage) computer back up drives were introduced without a service or strategy in Australia so they were being replaced with new ones costing $$ so Derek, Stuart & Rick, (gotta give credit), gave me the opportunity to find a way to fix them. So I made a multi-computer DDS testing rack & changed the flawed Jap testing software & we started fixing them. Was fun all the way to DDS-3, (12/32GB back-up drive), but then the budgets & economics came into it & overtime dried up & I had to find a better paying job. One income, 3 Kids, & 1 on the way. Then I became a Door to Door Salesman for Foxtel/Salesforce. Golden opportunity for a Technician... 😀
