About Phillip Cornwell

After over 44 years as a lawyer at Allens, 32 of them as a partner, I have retired from the firm. Since retiring as a partner in 2016 I have taken up a number of non-executive director roles, mainly with not-for-profits.My main areas of practice were project & structured finance (including infrastructure, PPPs, ECA funding and renewable energy), acquisition finance (including privatisations) and corporate finance.I am passionate about biodiversity conservation, sustainability, social justice, clear thinking, good governance, music, art and cycling.
