I’m an experienced solicitor with more than 20 years post qualification experience. I trained in South Shields, I was fortunate to land a job with Yorkshire's retail specialist Gordons over 20 years ago. Since then I have worked with national retail groups managing portfolios, health sector trusts building brand new state of the art Health Centres and with developers bringing together visionary schemes transforming the skyline of the North For 7 years I worked with Ward Hadaway, a large firm in the North East region handling public sector and private sector development work, dealt with major insolvency deals and led much of the property work on one of the UKs largest ever purchase/refinance transactions.I moved to Mincoffs in 2008 where I became head of property before leaving at the end of 2010.I also set up a firm in 2011 and we were nominated for north east’s property law firm of the year in 2019. I have acted for national retail chains, National developers and continue to represent some of the big hitters in development, care homes and the leisure industry. Regionally I’ve represented 2 of the largest landowners in the North East. I have extensive knowledge and experience in telecoms and renewables and can also deal with highly specialist agricultural and mineral transactions
