Sales Consultant
CurrentDrives sales through collaborative, need-centered interactions centering around customers’ needs, wants, financing options, and leasing options. Uses CRM applications daily in order to organize and analyze data including customers’ needs and transaction details including trade-in information, notes from purchasing consultations, customers’ contact information, and timetables for follow-up. Educates and advises customers throughout the sales process to ensure that the selected vehicle is properly equipped for the customers’ use and that the vehicle meets budgeting criteria. Maintains current product knowledge through continuous professional development. Provides value after the sale by maintaining relationships with clients via face-to-face contact, phone conversation, e-mail, and text messaging. Initiated additional responsibilities involving website maintenance, advertising, and inventory processing leading to an additional three-five sales per month on average.Endorses additional products such as mechanical repair agreements, tire and wheel insurance, and First Place Finish, adding an average gross of $800-$1,500 to sales. Increases revenue by initiating outside prospecting, which leads to an average of three additional sales per month, translating to $3,000-$7,000 in additional revenue for the dealership.
