Responsibilities include planning and review of the project work including jobsite logistics, organization, plan layout, equipment and manpower utilization. Prepare schedules and keep them updated, expediting the delivery of materials and equipment for their timely onsite delivery. Coordinate, direct and monitor the activities of subcontractors and suppliers. Obtain or see that subcontractors obtain all necessary permits for temporary and construction purposes. Coordinate all activities required for inspection agencies per specifications. Establish and maintain strict safety and security practices for the entire project in accordance with OSHA and Powers and Sons safety policies. Keep Owners, engineers and architects informed on any change orders or changes to the specifications. Secure and update daily as-built records, daily construction reports, 3-week look ahead’s, daily and weekly safety audits, ICRA records, daily negative air records and monitoring procedures, lockout tag out procedures, ILSM procedures, site specific subcontractor orientation, coordination and OAC meetings, appropriate signage, RACE and PASS procedures, hot work permits and fire watch procedures, demolition plans and procedures, close out documents including operation and maintenance manuals, owner training, commissioning and warranty documents.
