Aloha! I am Phillip Jessup and currently, I am herding cats for the United States Army otherwise known as being a Platoon Sergeant. I have been active duty for 14 years just about and plan on finishing strong with at least 20. The vast majority of my experience comes from being an Aircraft Powerplant Technician and Inspector however more recently, my Lines of Effort (LOE) have shifted more to a broad spectrum of logistical and transportation coordination, specifically utilizing the Armys software and network tools to plan, prepare, coordinate, ship and track millions of dollars worth of equipment and assets to various locales around the world. I have experience with all modes of transportation: ground, air, rail and ship and possess the skills necessary to engage in networking and problem solving to reduce inefficiencies and elimnate frustration with cargo, ensuring it goes where it needs to be, when it needs to get there. While this is not my primary job focus within the greater umbrella of the Military, it is something I take genuine interest in and strive to improve my knowledge and skillset on. But, more importantly, between working in aviation and logisitics, I am a team builder. A people person, somebody who believes in making a team of teams and optimizing those teams with the right leaders and followers to maximize potential when it comes to fiduciary responsibility and productivity.
