Summer 2015- Designed a wearable and easily programmable brainwave-controlled action camera using off-the-shelf biosensor technology and an Intel Edison. Implemented an extensible architecture in Python which supported BLE and ANT+ communication protocols for motion sensor and heart rate sending units. Named as a principal inventor on Intel's patent filing for innovations in this effort.Summer 2016- Wrote Python and Arduino programs for interfacing capacitance-based stretch sensors with a variety of 3-D printed prosthetics and braces. - Developed a system for monitoring hospital bed pressure sensors using finite state machines running on Arduino and Edison hardware to provide information about patient posture or bed presence to medical staff. - Created a library of Python algorithms for analyzing accelerometer, gyroscope, and GPS data from an Intel Curie module to provide insight into the physics of wakeboarding.
