For more than a decade, Phillip Leeds was a key member of Pharrell Williams' core team, helping to build and manage the legendary artist's music and fashion empires. Most recently, Phillip served as the Creative Director and Global Brand Manager for Pharrell's celebrated clothing lines, Billionaire Boys Club and ICECREAM. Directing both design and marketing processes, Phillip helped grow the brands from their initial launches in 2005. In this time, BBC and ICECREAM have won acclaim in Vogue, GQ, and countless other publications, and have accumulated coveted celebrity and influencer customers, ranging from Jay-Z to Andre Leon Talley. Prior to these lines, Philip managed touring for Pharrell and other artists on his Star Trak record label. This assignment followed naturally from Phillip’s early career at the vanguard of hip-hop, DEF JAM. Working at Rush Producer Management, where, alongside Lyor Cohen, Phillip supported artists including The Roots, Large Professor, Diamond D, and Notorious B.I.G.Through these singular opportunities, Phillip has accumulated a vast network and a multitude of experience in marketing / PR / brand strategy, celebrity integration, fashion design and production (domestic and international), and artist and producer management. Phillip prides himself on knowing how to spot creative talent and quality products, and then to “make them go” by implementing systematic, resourceful, and unconventional strategies. Phillip was responsible for bringing the team together to create Mass Appeal Media and is a partner and founding investor.In 2015, Phillip left music and fashion to start Agency For Higher, a creative consulting agency focused on the emerging legal cannabis industry. AFH provides creative services, PR and Marketing as well as Business Development consulting, connecting investors and brands.
