Phill established successful client representative / facing roles with local authorities, development investment managers, design teams, contractors and operators. He led regeneration and development feasibility studies, product concept generation and design direction, whilst working closely with the appraisals and acquisitions team. Utilising market analysis, financial appraisals, community needs-based assessment and by defining product vision, he prepared pre-bid and site acquisition investment reports, building compelling business cases for regeneration.He also employed specialist build-to-rent product and design knowledge to explore and deliver opportunities for greater resident experience / outcomes, operational improvements and optimised development value on forward-funded and existing developments.

Phill previously worked at the internationally renowned and award winning architectural practice Denton Corker Marshall, where he applied creative, interpersonal and organisational skills to exceed client expectations and successfully lead project teams through key phases of the property development process.Most notably his achievements included gaining planning approval for Allied London’s Nickel and Dime BTR development in Manchester; leading the design and delivery of the 4 star Pullman hotel and Exhibition Centre in Liverpool; acting as client design representative for Ian Schrager Company and Yabu Pushelberg on the London Edition, leading the design and delivery of 288 new homes on the London 2012 Olympic Athletes' Village site and being a key contributor on the 2008 Stirling Prize nominated Civil Justice Centre in Manchester.
