Preparing end-of-month accounts, including: balance sheet and bank reconciliations, maintenance of fixed-assetledgers, cash flow statements and analysis of profit & loss statementsAssist in preparation of annual budgets and forecasts to management and other stakeholdersproviding assistance to the Financial ManagerManaging and mentoring junior accountantsTreasury management as per company policyCoordinate internal and external audits

Analyse key financial data and KPI's within the company, ensuring that managers receive timely, accurate and relevant information.Prepare capital expenditure budgets and assist in the preparation of operating budgetsParticipate in developing long-term plans and financial models to improve planning and budgetingReview performance against budgets and prepare variation, control and statistical reportsEnsure accounting activities comply with relevant legal, professional and ethical standardsPerform review at month end and prepare monthly reports for Operating Board of DirectorsPrepare financial disclosures and financial statements for annual reports and provide annual audit working papersLiaise with external auditors on accounting procedures and recordsDevelop, manage and coach staff and team members in the finance teamAlign current practices with annual budget and forecasts, and collaborate with management on the three-year projection cycle.
