With over 10 years of experience in research, M&E and data science, I am a specialist in designing, managing, and executing research and evaluation projects that inform and improve youth skills and entrepreneurship development. I hold an MSc in Population Studies from the University of Nairobi and have extensive knowledge and skills in R, STATA, Python, Excel and mobile data collection tools such as surveyCTO, ODK and Kobo. As the Technical Evaluation Lead at Educate!, I set up the Rapid Impact Assessment (RIA) system and currently oversee rigorous evaluations of our programs and interventions, using both experimental and non-experimental methods. I also develop and refine the measurement strategy, ensure data quality and integrity, and disseminate the results and learnings to internal and external stakeholders. My mission is to use data and evidence to drive impact and innovation for millions of young people in Africa.
