Responsible for developing and improving internal organizational procedures as well as providing mentoring and training to Directors of Internal Organizers, Contract Representatives, and Bargaining Strategies. Assignments include the task of creating proven results by building and strengthening member leadership and member engagement in state and local political campaigns.

Duties entailed building organizational infrastructure and core capacity through the development of strong partnerships, field presence, communications (media coverage), including online engagement. The work intentionally created long term capacity by reaching out directly to and encouraging a culture of civic engagement via effective social justice movements, partnering with working families, churches, retirees, volunteers, and included training of local community leaders.

Had overall authority and responsibility for conducting the daily affairs of the Union that included a $4.1 million dollar budget, administrative and supervision for Union staff personnel, be a member of, and chief spokesperson for the Bargaining Teams in all State Primary Negotiations, make periodic reports to the Union Board of Directors and perform reasonable duties as may be assigned by the Union President and Executive Officers.
