I am an easy going and positive individual with a passion and dedication for my trade. With a continued enthusiasm for the role, I am always keen to develop and enhance on my current skills through various continual professional development opportunities. I have shown the ability to work both independently and, as a valued member of a team. Leadership is another quality I possess - I believe my approachable and supportive manner help in my success in leading others and have a good working relationship with all colleagues at all levels. My experience in varied environments has allowed me to develop a very conscious approach to all aspects of my working practice but particularly in maintaining a vigorous level of health and safety. I have a wealth of experience in many lines of electrical and practical work that have provided me with a high level of knowledge allowing me complete work to an excellent standard. Away from work I complete to a high level in cycling competitions / events. I have represented Great Britain at the 2015 Rio Olympic test event in Brazil. I have been 2015 and 2017 Elite overall National Champion and have been British Cycling MTB National Champion in 2021. I have collected the Silver medal twice at the UCI World Maters Cyclocross Champs in 2021 and 2022. I’m luckily enough to be fully supported by Hope Technology Factory Racing team, and can often be found racing world wide and all around the UK, mainly compete in mountain bike Cross Country, Enduro and Cyclocross disciplines. Since I started competing later in life at the age of 29, I certainly learned how to set and achieve achievable goals, how to work hard and maintain focus and dedication towards my goals. And to be prepared not only physically but also mentally each and every day step along the journey to succeed my goal.
