I am a sewing machinest at Aletek, my main duties are manufacturing thermal blankets and covers for large mining machines. I also perform RCA's "route cause analysis" to help identify problems and work shop solutions.I am the safety rep for my area of manufacturing so I work with our OHS officer to improve and maintain a high standard of safety for my team and the company.I have worked with the team to create process and procedures to help stream line single piece flow in our manufacturing line.I have created a what does good look like structure so we all know how our work stations are to maintained and held to the Aletek standard.I have worked with my Forman on creating a skill matrix to keep track of how the team is progressing and also what skill level individuals are working at.
