With over 40 years of experience in the public policy and postal industry, I am a consultant for the American Postal Workers Union (APWU), AFL-CIO, where I provide strategic analysis, advice, and advocacy on various labor issues and regulatory matters. I am passionate about protecting and advancing the rights and interests of workers, especially in the face of outsourcing, privatization, and automation threats. As a consultant, I leverage my negotiation, arbitration, human resources, and analytical skills to prepare cases and advocate and negotiate contracts for the APWU. I also manage the APWU's involvement in many regulatory matters, such as reviewing proposed regulations, commenting on responses, and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the mail industry, senior USPS management, the Office of Inspector General, and the Postal Regulatory Commission. Additionally, I offer guidance on union administration matters, such as information management, grievance arbitration, and membership.
