Position is to primarily manage the day to day operational activities of the Credit Department function.•Guiding, coaching and supporting senior credit controllers and credit controllers within the Credit Department function.• Improve cash inflows and receivables performance by focusing upon optimising Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and management of risk.•Execute Receivables management initiatives and change programs.•SME for Accounts Receivable/ Credit Management in JSAP project•Portfolio analysis and health assessment check •Manage key and sensitive debtors.• Ensure compliance with policy, SOP’s and guidelines.•Monitor the various Accounts Receivable/ Credit portfolios to ensure effective and efficient collection strategies and processes, and ensure constant cash flow commensurate with sales revenue.•Ongoing implementation of risk mitigation strategies and tools for client segments•GL Reconciliations

• Management of the Credit Department with 12 direct reports• Maintaining at a defined level the outstanding amount and percentage of 30 day + balances• Delegated authority across the opening of all new accounts and organize online credit checks for limits above $10K and the obtaining of applicable security• Provide monthly management reports on all accounts • Control credit hold system on a daily basis• Liaise with Solicitors Collection Agency with regard to sending out of solicitors letter and when necessary follow through with legal proceedings• Resolve all queries and reconciliations for major clients• Supervise the preparation and running of all monthly statements • Promotion of team monthly KPI’s across Cash Targets,60 Day aged debt & DSO’s • Liaise with function managers to implement cost saving• Review performance data to ensure productivity • Improvements to the company commercial terms• Preparation of financial analyses and appraisals to ensure commercial decisions are made on all areas of business (marketing and projects)
