• Led team of 4 engineers to develop an online booking platform using React (Typescript) to build the front-end and Firebase for the back-end.
• Acted as de-facto Tech Lead, helping to set engineering standards, driving discussion surrounding high-level architectural decisions, and feature prioritization.
• Worked with UI/UX Designer to create and iterate over 30 wireframes for web/mobile views on Figma before implementing them in React, complete with animations and routing.
• Developed a full booking flow to allow customers to book private chefs, complete with payment integration through Stripe and an email confirmation system using Firebase Cloud Functions.
• Used Firebase Cloud Functions to programmatically create/update database entries depending on events emitted through Stripe webhook (e.g. checkout session completed, chef data updates, etc)

• Developed an addition to the Creator Payout Dashboard to show a more detailed estimate of the creator’s monthly payout, with a breakdown of fees and taxes withheld, impacting more than 1.3 million creators.
• Wrote a technical design document outlining project motivations and the proposed implementation strategy, touching on schema changes, potential alternatives, full stack implementation details, and more.
• Implemented front-end designs mocked-up with Figma in a React-based front-end library, along with changes to backend jobs in an internal Go-based service.

Jakarta, Indonesia (Remote)

• VIDA is a cybersecurity startup based in Indonesia with a focus on Digital Identity and identity verification.
• Developed a client-facing video-conference web app used primarily to verify a user’s identity before onboarding them to one of VIDA’s products.
• Created the interface using Angular with an integration of OpenVidu (an open-source video-chat service) to handle the video-chat functionality, and used a Dockerized local server to test OpenVidu connections.
