CurrentI was named Assistant Department Head of the Computational Biology Department after only two years of service.I am the founding director of the undergraduate program in computational biology, and a co-founder and director of the precollege program for computational biology at Carnegie Mellon. I previously served as an assistant director of the MS in computational biology program as well.I instituted social and industry events for students in our department, and we now host two campus-wide biotech industry fairs every year.
