Meetingroom.ninja was the first Slack app that allows users to book meeting rooms in their Google calendars through Slack. It integrates with Slack and Google Workspace allowing companies to import and configure offices and meeting rooms. After this initial import is done, employees can easily book a meeting room through a simple “/meetingroom” Slack command. It serviced over 1300 companies and 50,000 users globally.It runs on Google Cloud (GCP) in a Kubernetes (GKE) cluster, with docker containers. It spans 4 services which are written in React, asp.net core 3.1, and NodeJS with ES6/7. It’s backed by Postgresql and Cloud Pub/Sub.
