Our Function is a proactive risk-based intelligence led security function, that’s thinks strategically, executes programs locally and build resilience globally.In November 2020, Security Magazine published its annual Security 500 ratings list, and for 2020, the Baker Hughes Security function ranked first in the utilities and energy sector. This list is an annual ranking of the top 500 enterprise security programs across 20 sectors. Companies are ranked on a variety of factors and metrics, including progressiveness of their security programs, efficiency of costs, security spend as a percentage of revenue, and other attributes that are gained from both interviews and independent research.Published since 2011, the Security 500 report showcases security leaders and their organizations. The report includes the biggest challenges and targets for where billions of dollars will be invested to manage enterprise risk and improve security as identified in the annual Security 500 Survey.Baker Hughes has been a contributor to the Security 500 since 2012. The 2020 listing marks the third time that our Security department has been ranked #1 in the energy sector and is the 9th time in the past 10 years that we have been ranked.In May 2021, the MENATI Security Function had the best global results in a internal Baker Hughes Security Perception survey.

1. Designed, implemented and managed Security Plan for oilfields under our control (4 blocks equating to 4699sqkm).2. Through the Business Continuity Program conducted on going Security Risk Assessments, motivated and effected required mitigation.3. Facilitated protection for visiting engineers and contractors.4. Collaborated with local military commanders, local tribal leaders and Bedouin to gather intelligence.5. Strengthened the local security team through coaching and structured training.
