July of 2000 I began employment with Florida Blue, (the former BCBSF). For the first 6 years I was a member of one of the most technically savvy, innovative and functionally adept, network administrative teams I have worked with in my history. September of 2006 I joined the leadership team at Florida Blue and led a very strong team of service desk engineers for 3 years.July of 2007 my role changed to a senior manager position responsible for IT Asset Provisioning, which includes all functions and duties associated with managing IT assets, (Lease Management, Warehouse, Configuration team (hardware/software)), for 10,000 plus customer and a 10 million dollar budget.August 2015 I started up a team of 6 additional people to support 4 cities in Pennsylvania, 1 city in Maryland, 1 city in Texas, 1 city in Wisconsin and 1 city in Georgia. I will be modeling this support after my team in Florida and we will be supporting 3500 users in those sites mentioned. This will be managed by me splitting my time between Florida and Pennsylvania. July 2017 my role changed to IT Program Manager. I am responsible for traveling to affiliate companies purchased by Florida Blue, assessing and evaluating their IT department processes as they align to the Florida Blue culture. I am assigned the task of creating a business plan of priorities over a period of years to further align them to Florida Blue infrastructure and security practices. I work with senior leadership within both companies in order to create this plan according to budget, time and resources.
