This enables staff to swiftly respond to residents in need of care. Continuous monitoring replaces routine in-room checks, so residents are left to sleep peacefully and not disturbed while staff are free to focus on those alerts that have been triggered by the system. Staff are therefore proactively responding to residents who need attention rather than walking around every hour checking each individual resident, which can have a negative effect on residents sleeping patterns and be quite intrusive.
