My position as Production Assistant for Chalkboard Productions was a valuable experience in which I am grateful to have taken up the opportunity. The Production team members are inspirational and have given me the knowledge of professionalism in the Television Industry. This experience has broadened out my knowledge of the TV Industry and holds an exciting future.

I recently worked at the ITV studios on a live run-through of a show called 'Indescribable', presented by Dave Berry. This show featured a number of guests, including an appearance from Mollie King - 'The Saturdays' and was presented to ITV representatives by the Chalkboard team. For this session I looked after the talent, prepared the props and helped set-up ready for the live performance. My main duty involved operating the sliding panels throughout the show. These were an important asset to the structure of the set-up as they prevented the audience from seeing one side of the stage that was designed to be hidden from both the player and viewers until it was revealed to the contestant.

I am a co-founder for 'Alternative Productions', an upcoming independent company based in London that is currently in development. At 'Alternative' we aim to give customers an exciting and fresh approach to commercial/promotional material for both small and large businesses. We also aim to film small festivals to promote and interview new upcoming artists and iconic figures within the entertainment industry,looking to expand their recognition within the media. In our spare time we also work to create short independent films and other pieces of material to develop and expand our small business and gain recognition across the nation.Co-founders - George Baker & Phillip Sparkes
