A proficient user of MicroStation CAD software, which developed into my role becoming the point of contact for all drawing queries. I was tasked to create new macros and drawing processes to streamline the production of Navtech charts.• Created product requirements, specifications and workflows for new and existing software aimed at automating the creation and distribution of Navtech charts. These documents and proposals were delivered to directors, managers, the in-house development department and external developers.• After delivery of new software, I managed the installation, user acceptance testing (QA testing) and verification processes to ensure the specification was adhered to and that it conformed to our internal standards and the audits of aviation regulations worldwide. The software was maintained with continued development to meet changes within the company and the wider industry. Throughout this position, I demonstrated my ability to manage and deliver projects ahead of schedule and to a high standard.• I worked closely with international staff and was selected as the UK representative to visit the Canadian office, as well as representing the company in Taiwan and Malaysia to new and prospective customers, together with aviation authorities.• During this role, I developed a high-level knowledge of aircraft, air traffic management, aviation safety, charting and the ARINC-424 specification (used in Flight Management Systems).
