I manage a team of 5 Case Managers and 2 Administration Assistants as well as having my own personal case load of 60-65 cases.As the Team Manager works remotely I manage HR issues within the Companies guidelinesI delegate the daily work load, ensuring that the key tasks are kept within service level agreementsI have assisted with the development of 5 Trainee Case Managers supporting them with technical and procedural knowledge Effectively communicate across multiple sights to ensure consistency in approach to the achievement of group objectives

As a Senior Probate Manager I manage a case book of approximately 50 complex Probate cases. I deal direct with the families from the time the estate comes into the office to when the estate has been finalised. The complexity of the estate depends on the assets, family situations or whether foreign assets need to be dealt with.A high level of accuracy is required to record all the assets and liabilities are recorded, ensuring that the correct inheritance tax forms are submitted to H M Revenue and Customs and the probate application completed in a timely manner.On receipt of the Grant of Probate all assets and liabilities need to be dealt with. This involves dealing in stocks and shares, selling and transferring properties, overseas assets, bank accounts etc.On completion the estate accounts are completed, these are currently prepared using Microsoft Office packages.

I started work in Barclays Registrars, working a shares administrator. I dealt with the registers of various companies including Whitbread, RHM, Barclays. I assisted shareholders with dividend enquiries.I then moved to Barclays Bank Trust Company, which after many changes became Barclays Wealth. Within this role I worked on many roles, however the main role was a probate administrator. I studied for my Step exams and trained as a qualified probate administrator. I also worked on the wills database for Barclays, answering queries and providing advise about wills, estates and Trusts.During 2000 - 2012 I undertook a role which included selling a new service, probate assistant, I worked closely with Barclays Personal Investment Management and attended monthly seminars for their clients. At these seminars I presented information relating to the wills, estates and Trusts service that Barclays offered.When the new service was offered I was involved in selling this service to Barclays clients, I did this both by phone and in person. In 2012 the department was outsourced to Chorus Law.
