With the long term aim of increasing walking and cycling rates this project combines urban design, community engagement and sustainable transport planning to create better places for people to live in and move through.The project was featured at the New London Architecture FIT:London exhibition and I recently spoke at the Design Council's Active by Design summit about how community street design can be a catalyst for increasing walking and cycling within a local area.
