As a Senior Technical Advisor at Envirosoft, I work with key client accounts in order to ensure regulatory compliance with respect to AB TIER, SK OBPS, BC GHG, BC CIIP, and NPRI / federal GHG reporting. I work directly with all of our staff to improve regulatory knowledge, technical skills, and overall training - and act as a mentor for junior staff for professional development in the emissions and O&G space. I also work hand in hand with our product and development team, ensuring the Emission Manager platform is up-to-date to accommodate any regulatory changes. This involves conducting extensive user acceptance testing, calculation vetting, and talking to key stakeholders to understand their needs in a software platform.

• Provided regulatory expertise to several clients and acted as primary point of contact for various reporting regulations, including NPRI, Alberta TIER, D60, D39, GHGRP, BCGHG, SK OBPS.• Lead a team of five analysts, effectively delegating tasks and organizing client meetings• Acted as a technical mentor to all junior staff, bolstering knowledge in the oil and gas and emissions space.• Enhanced internal training program, ensuring analysts were well versed in applicable regulations.• Assisted in furthering the development of the Envirosoft Emission Manager platform, including software testing and scoping out software changes to meet future regulatory demands.

Responsibilities include:• Assisting in data collection, data management, calculation and reporting of NPRI reportable substances to the NPRI through SWIM.• Preparation of annual GHG emission reports for facilities meeting the 100,000 tonne CO2E reporting threshold for reporting under Alberta's TIER Large Emitter program• Preparation of annual GHG emission reports for facilities meeting the 10,000 tonne CO2E threshold for Environment Canada's GHGRP.• Compiling direct, indirect GHG inventories for various clients for their sustainability and corporate reporting purposes• Completing annual Air Monitoring Reports in accordance with the requirements of Alberta EPEA approvals.• Completing DEOS sheets and calculating benzene emissions for glycol dehydrators using GRI-GLYCalc for compliance with Alberta's Directive 039. • Completing Annual Emissions Inventory Reports for reportable facilities in Alberta.

• Performed environmental field surveys and field inspections of over 2000 components in benzene service (valves, pumps, flanged connections), identifying them in site P&IDs. Created a database of benzene components on site to facilitate leak detection and repair efforts in future years with Ontario's benzene industry standard.• Wrote VBA code in SAP Crystal Reports to automate regulatory provincial leak detection and repair reporting for future years under the Benzene Technical Standard.• Developed and successfully implemented a monitoring program to track fence-line benzene emissions• Responsible for calculating the site's environmental impact in regards to emissions, hazardous waste, and water effluent and usage. These calculations were submitted in a timely manner to both internal and external bodies, to confirm compliance with industrial regulations.• Reviewed and updated VOC emission modelling from the refinery's wastewater treatment plant • Stewarded site leak detection and repair (LDAR) program, acting as a primary point of contact for mechanical leads and contractors, ensuring repairs were done in a timely manner• Improved bi-annual sampling plan under the Toxic Reduction Act (O. Reg 455/09), eliminating redundant samples. Samples were reduced by 24%, resulting in significant reduction of lab costs and time commitment for the environmental group.
