Zoox is bringing all-electric, fully autonomous, purpose-built vehicles to cities to make transportation cleaner, safer and more enjoyable.

The Bay Area is home to 101 cities and nine counties, each with its own transportation and housing needs. The MTC provides planning, funding, coordination and technical assistance to cities, counties, transit agencies and other partners to bring the region together — to make life better for residents and make the Bay Area’s transportation system more resilient to future challenges.

· Managed a team of eight public affairs professionals responsible for the Agency’s major capital construction and transportation planning projects ranging from $40M to $1.6B each· Engaged with local, state and federal elected officials to develop transportation policy and address constituent concerns· Collaborated with government staff from other departments to execute projects or explore new initiatives· Built and maintained relationships with the media, relevant thought leaders and advocates to achieve Agency goals· Proposed, developed, tracked and evaluated legislation

Successful ballot measure in support of an innovative approach to municipal urban forestry in San Francisco to address environmental justice and fight climate change.∙ Lead all aspects of day to day campaign activities.∙ Secured endorsements, hired and managed staff and built a broad coalition of partners.∙ Devised media strategy, communication plan, website design and printed collateral design.∙ Managed grassroots outreach strategy to engage residents in the campaign.

Friends of the Urban Forest’s mission is to promote a larger, healthier urban forest as part of San Francisco’s green infrastructure through community planting, tree care, education, and advocacy. Since 1981, we have planted more than 50,000 trees, totaling 43% of San Francisco’s street tree canopy. Using a community-based model, the tree plantings and sidewalk garden installations are a way to bring entire neighborhoods together and catalyze other organizing projects and promote civic engagement.· Lead on strategy for expansive public policy goals· Direct and hire consultants to conduct polling and focus groups ahead of a city-wide ballot measure· Lobby elected officials and government departments around Urban Forestry issues· Create and manage coalition of political organizations in support of FUF”s mission· Built “Community Advocates” program to engage public in grassroots environmental policy· Oversee outreach department by managing external messaging, campaign development and events

Campaign in support of a ballot measure in San Francisco to improve city water resource allocation. · Recruited, trained and managed 45 staff, volunteers and interns· Led grassroots outreach efforts including 155 tabling events & canvassing for improved voter education· Managed campaign social-media including website, Facebook, twitter, YouTube and email blasts· Wrote and delivered 25+ speeches to special interest political groups in San Francisco · Planned and hosted 12 events, 2 public debates, 2educational forums and 4 fundraisers raising $100k
