My mission is go beyond completing the basic directive of the work, by driving how my team and I can affect continuous and lasting positive change to any project we take on. I am currently the Director & Actuary of M Life, Valuation at M Financial Group, a leading company that offers innovative insurance and wealth management solutions. I am passionate about leveraging my skills and knowledge to help the company achieve its vision of creating lasting value for its clients and shareholders. I also value diversity, collaboration, and innovation, and I strive to bring these qualities to my team and the organization.In my current role, I oversee the financial modeling and analysis of reinsurance business for M Life, the life reinsurance division of M Financial Group. I am responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the reinsurance data, models, and reports, as well as providing insights and recommendations to senior management and external stakeholders. I also directly lead and mentor a team of actuarial students and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Some of my achievements include implementing new reinsurance systems, directly and indirectly enhancing many of our reinsurance reporting processes and maintaining strong relationships with my company’s member firms, reinsurers and partner carriers. To perform my role effectively, I use various skills, such as life (re)insurance industry knowledge, various technology, and communication. I enjoy working with a talented and diverse team, and I am always eager to learn new things and take on new challenges.
