Head of the Distribution Centre team within the 14 500m2 Warehouse. I am the custodian of the Warehouse Management System (WMS), AdOr, as well as being a member of the Group's Supply Chain management team reporting into the Executive structure.

I have been able to institute various procedures to tighten up stock control as well as new store openings, store closures and delivery route processes. I control a warehouse that in the 2010 (2009) year, sent out 995 148 (979 968) garments, worked 50 000 man hours; local delivery trucks travelled 30 665km (41080km) delivering stock and employs up to 25 staff a day. Together with the continual distribution of new and current stock to our stores we have 2 very large seasonal recalls, which we control and police from head office. My position involves managing the time resources of the staff depending on the schedule set out by our directors and ensuring that stock is delivered on time and correctly to our wholly owned stores. This is a growing role, and with our current growth rate it involves planning ahead for where we may be in a year or two’s time. This is with regards to space, time and staff resources. My responsibilities included issuing shipping instructions to our carriers (UTi and DHL) to arrange the shipments worldwide, keeping the clients informed of their orders from order placement to delivery, following up with the carriers for the delivery timelines and POD's, liaising with the warehouse in New York as to the receipt of orders from Dimension Data's vendors (Cisco, Tandberg, Motorola etc), working very closely with the Sales Support team at Dimension Data North America (DDNA) and managing these orders received from DDNA from start to finish within our team. I was also involved in the marketing of our product to new and existing clients, making them aware of the additional value created by our group. I resigned to take up a personal growth position at a ladies fashion retailer.Single point of contact for some of DDSCS's bigger accounts.
